Location: The Kyrgyz National Philharmonic and over 10 venues around, the International University of Kyrgyzstan.

Over the past seven years, the annual Education Festival has become an integral part of Bishkek's life and has become one of its good traditions. 

The Festival aims to tell children, youth, parents and the general public about the educational opportunities in Bishkek and advance professional orientation of high school students, increase children's interest in knowledge and creativity, instill digital literacy skills and critical thinking. 

The theme of the Festival changes every year and the 8th Festival of Education in 2020 is dedicated to “Digital Literacy” and will be held as part of the Year of Regional Development, Digitalization of the Country and Child Support. 

In order to achieve long-term outcomes, the format of the Festival has been changed this year: instead of visiting one of Bishkek’s universities on the first day of the Festival, pre-festival events to be hold in cooperation with the Bishkek Education Department and the partners of the Festival. 

The organizers of the 8th Festival of Education are the “Roza Otunbayeva Initiative” IPF, the Bishkek City Administration, the International University of Kyrgyzstan with the support of the state, public and international organizations. 

For reference: The Festival of Education is an annual festival for children, youth, parents and citizens held from 2013 in Bishkek. 

The Festival of Education was the best educational event in Central Asia following the results of the Central Asian "Event Awards Central Asia" in 2016. In addition, it was awarded the 3rd place at the Global Event Awards (December 4, Moscow) as the "Best Children's Event" among 84 events from various countries. 

The Education Festival has become thematic from 2014. The first day of the festival was held in one of the universities in Bishkek and the second day events were organized in the center of Bishkek. 

In 2019, the 7th Festival of Education on “Digital Generation of Kyrgyzstan” was organized at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) on April 13 and at 16 different venues in the central part of the city with the main stage near Monument of Kurmanzhan Datka on May 4. More than 27,000 people attended the numerous events of the Festival over two days. 

Participation in the Festival of Education and the Fair of Educational Services gives you a unique opportunity to present your services and products to the general public, provide guests with information about your activities. The Fair annually brings together more than 100 organizations.
