About holding a city poster competition "We are for healthy lifestyle"

1. General Provisions

1.1. Regulations on the poster competition "We are for a healthy lifestyle!" (Hereinafter referred to as the Competition) among schools in Bishkek defines the goals and objectives of the Competition, the order of its organization, conduct, summing up and awarding the winners.

1.2. The competition is held in the framework of the eco-project "Think Globally, Act Locally: Enhancing Environmental Responsibility among Children and Youth".

2. Goals and objectives of the Contest

2.1. The objectives and objectives of the competition are:

• The formation of an active life position in children and adolescents in matters of a healthy lifestyle;

• Strengthening in the youth environment of fashionable tendencies of a healthy way of life;

• Giving young people the opportunity to express their attitude to the issue of promoting healthy lifestyles, to contribute to the development of social advertising;

• Attracting students' attention to the benefits of a healthy lifestyle as a pledge of personal success, developing spiritual and physical abilities, forming a positive emotional and aesthetic mood, raising the cultural level, creating a favorable social environment;

• Identification and development of creative abilities of schoolchildren. Goals and objectives of the Contest

3.Organizers of the Competition

3.1. The organizers of the Contest are the International Public Foundation "Roza Otunbayeva Initiative" and the Education Department of Bishkek City Hall.

4. Participants of the Contest

4.1. Schoolchildren aged 11 to 16 can take part in the Competition.

4.2. From each school to the Contest no more than 5 works are accepted.

4.3. Participants of the Contest are obliged to submit competitive materials on time.

4.4. All received materials are not returned.

5. Theme of the Contest

5.1. The competition is held on the following topics:

• The theme of the propaganda of sport, tourism, active and cultural way of life and contently leisure of young people "A healthy spirit in a healthy body!", A healthy way of life is the way to success, To be healthy is healthy! ";

• The theme of the attitude of the younger generation to a healthy lifestyle: "We stand for ...";

• The theme of the school's attitude to a healthy lifestyle

6. The Jury of the Competition

6.1. In order to evaluate the work of the participants, the Jury of the Competition (hereinafter - the Jury) is created to determine the winners of the Competition.

6.2. Members of the Jury are obliged to observe the Regulations and use in their work the criterial apparatus approved by the Organizing Committee of the Competition.

6.3. Criteria for evaluating creative work:

• conformity of work to the purposes and tasks of the competition;

• originality of the idea;

• artistic performance;

• the urgency of the problem solved by the author;

• novelty of the used plot;

• Brightness and expressiveness of work;

• the degree of educational influence on the viewer;

• slogan, appeal.

6.4. The result of the work of the Jury members is a completed and signed evaluation list.

6.5. The results of the work of the Jury are not subject to discussion and revision.

7. Organization of the Competition

7.1. The competition is held from 01 March to 11 April 2017 and consists of three stages:

• Stage 1 - acceptance of works from March 1 to April 11, 2017 (Department of Education of the City Hall of Bishkek, room No. 12.

• Stage 2 - evaluation of the Jury of the submitted works from April 11 to 20, 2017;

• Stage 3 - awarding the winners and prize-winners of the Competition on April 28, 2017 on the first day of the Education Festival-2017 at the Kyrgyz State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports (KSAPES).

7.2. The winners of the Contest are awarded with diplomas of I, II, III degrees and prizes. The authors of the most interesting works, on the recommendation of the Organizing Committee, are awarded with incentive prizes. The best entries will decorate the halls of the Festival of Education (April 28, 2017).

7.3. The results of the Contest will be published on the official website of the organizers within three days after its completion.

8 Requirements for competitive works

8.1. Posters are accepted for the competition in A1 format. Posters can be made in any technique (gouache, ink, pastel, computer graphics, mixed techniques, etc.).

8.2. The text of the posters should be short, concise, original.

8.3. In the work there should be emotional colors, the carriers of which are color, light, font, drawing, graphic elements, etc.

8.4. In case the poster is made using graphic computer programs, work with the file must be additionally presented on the information medium.

8.5. Presented posters on the reverse side should have an inscription indicating the following data: surname, name, author's date of birth, subject, school number, full name of the teacher, contact phone number.
